UNIT: CLIMATE CHANGE

TOPIC:  ECONOMIC IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE and Nations who will be hit the hardest

  1. I can identify the major economic impacts of climate change globally 
  2. I can understand why further research is needed on the economic cost of climate change 
  3. I can explain why the impact of climate change will be most the devastating in certain nations and regions

LESSON:
1.  Discuss the articles below and get notes from the PPT 
If you have not completed the work below please do so for tomorrow:  Read two articles over the economic costs: the first is from the IPCC and the second is from the Atlantic.  For each article construct the main idea and bullet key support.  The second piece will force you to think carefully about the first reading.  


2.  Introduction to uneven impact of climate change: group work on who and how climate change will hit the hardest.
